Although not all the students had arrived by this first weekend we really wanted to to up and be with them for this first Sunday of term. The worship and testimonies led by Barbara in S3 were inspiring - there were copious welcomes and introductions for us  - Jerry and I, Grace and Jess (wearing suitably long shorts of course ;) ) , plus Phil, Michele, Toby and Brenda - who caused a total stir by high fiving the whole school. Phil and I spoke about trust - and with a small amount of planning and chatting during a run the other day, it all came together - like it often does on a Sunday. Grace and Jess read out some relevant verses. Jerry and Michele with Toby organised a communion for everyone - with juice and pitta bread. And we were able to pray after as well. So a joint effort all round. Good to see many more familiar faces - numbers were up to about 200.... and there are more to come...
